We hope you are hungry for traditional Lhaq'temish style BBQ seafood and Native fried bread this year!  In 2024, we plan on setting up at a remote site, in the Gooseberry Point, Lummi WA. area (near the Lummi Island Ferry, see below for map) to cook. During some the bbq remote events, we plan on doing periodic fundraisers to support various activities. 
 

So far in 2024, the Lummi Seafood Market (LSM) plans on doing periodic fundraisers through the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons when the weather is good for the following areas:

  • Chi’yad’Kanim (Sky Phair-Williams) is a Lummi Nation youth member and 5th grade graduate of Lummi Island Beach School, in June. Next year, he will be new 6th grader student to attend Explorations Academy for enrollment and travel expenses (2024/2025 school year). He has been accepted by the school.

  • Explorations Academy, a school fundraiser; and

  • ​Bellingham SeaFeast, on Oct 5 & 6, 2024 (Sat/Sun),www.bellinghamseafeast.org

April 27, 2024 - BBQ Fundraiser


​The very first fundraiser is for Sky's school expenditures. At this event, 50% of sale proceeds will be donated for this purpose. At these events, we will be cooking local Salish Seafood: Traditional Lhaq'temish style BBQ King Salmon, BBQ Geoduck skewers, BBQ Halibut with Sides, such as: Potato Salad, Garden Salad, Baked Beans & Bread Rolls with Butter, and also Native Fried Bread with Butter &/or Jam.
 

Pre-orders online are appreciated, so we can gage the traffic and you can guarantee your plate. Cash and credit cards excepted. Pick-up only.

Since 2017, Lummi Seafood Market provides fresh and frozen local and domestic seafood products. We also provide speciality and unique foods on seasonal occasions. The market provides a venue for local fishermen to sell their catch, while providing affordable seafood products to the public. Majority of our products are proudly caught by Indigenous-Native American people from around the Pacific Northwest.

In August of 2022, we have been participating in the Bellingham Dockside pop-up tent seafood market, located at the Squalicum Harbor, in Bellingham, WA, every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, from 10am - 2pm.
